Hope everyone had an amazing holiday weekend with some fun, sun, and relaxation. We had a HUGE wedding this past weekend down in Virginia and needless to say we are beat. We got back to Pennsylvania on Sunday and passed out by 8 pm. It was one of those kind of weekends! 🙂
On Monday we went into Frenchtown NJ on our way into New Hope to pick up our daughter from horseback riding camp and loved it. It was our first time visiting and it reminded me New Hope a lot. The two towns are only 20 mins apart so that makes sense. We walked around and checked out some of the boutiques and stopped in for some Mexican at a BYOB. We had to head out within an hour so we didn’t get to really explore too much but we will be back.
Checking out the scenery in Frenchtown.
Cute little artsy town with brightly colored benches. Had to take a photo opp.
After we picked up my step daughter we went home to cook out and chill in the back yard. We were in no mood to deal with crowds. This dress is a Target find from this season. I love all the bohemian feels on this red, white, and blue number. The embroidered flowers and patterns on the dress are super pretty, delicate, and appeal to my personal laid back esthetic. I was so excited when Target saw my post via Instagram and decided to feature me wearing this dress on their AwesomeShop website! I’ve included the link below!
I was obviously concerned with not spilling any Popsicle juice on this festive dress. Also making sure the Rose did not leave my hands!
Something interesting caught my eye… or I was getting ready to yell at the kiddos in the pool… either or.
Closeup details on the embroidery. So cute!
When night rolled in we lit some sparklers in the front yard…. And what are sparklers without having an epic Harry Potter wand duel?? Overall our 4th of July weekend was nice and relaxing. Exactly what I wanted after our eventful weekend.
